SAMART ยังมีโอกาสที่หนุนกำไรด้วยการเปิดโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานขยะด้วยกำลัง 6-8 เมกะวัตต์ต่อโรงในประเทศไทย โรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานน้ำในประเทศลาว ตลอดจนโรงไฟฟ้าถ่านหิน 2 พันเมกะวัตต์ในกัมพูชา ตามคาดการณ์เฉลี่ย Bloomberg กำไรสุทธิน่าจะกลับมาโตได้ถึง 33% ได้ในปี 59 และ 13% ในปี 60 ทั้งนี้คาดการณ์เฉลี่ยของ Bloomberg อาจจะยังไม่รวมผลจากโครงการที่ SAMTEL พึ่งเซ็นสัญญาไป
