โดยผลการดำเนินงานของบริษัทพลิกเป็นกำไรเนื่องจากการปรับเปลี่ยนกลยุทธ์เป็นการขายแบบเลือกสรร (Selective Selling) และการบริหารต้นทุนวัตถุดิบของธุรกิจยางธรรมชาติส่งผลให้ให้บริษัทฯ สามารถรักษาความสามารถในการทำกำไรได้ อีกทั้งการรับรู้กำไรจากธุรกิจถุงมือยางเต็มปีในปี 2561 หากเทียบกับปีก่อนซึ่งการแยกกิจการ (Demerger) แล้วเสร็จ เมื่อ 16 มีนาคม 2560 ด้วยเหตุนี้ บริษัทฯ จึงมีกำไรก่อนค่าใช้จ่ายทางการเงินและ ภาษีเงินได้ (EBIT)อยู่ที่ 3,273.9 ล้านบาท จากขาดทุน 241.5 ล้านบาทในปีก่อน
