โดยบริษัทคาดว่าจะได้เม็ดเงินจากระดมทุนครั้งนี้ราว 8 พันล้านบาทถึง 1 หมื่นล้านบาท เพื่อใช้ซื้อโรงไฟฟ้าและพัฒนาโรงไฟฟ้าตามแผน โดยมีเป้าหมายจะมีกำลังการผลิตไฟฟ้าที่เดินเครื่องผลิตแล้วครบ 500 เมกะกวัตต์ภายในปี 63 จากปัจจุบันที่เมื่อซื้อโรงไฟฟ้าของ SunEdison แล้วจะทำให้มีกำลังการผลิตไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ทั้งในไทยและญี่ปุ่นรวม 410 เมกะวัตต์ เป็นกำลังการผลิตที่เดินเครื่องแล้วราว 131 เมกะวัตต์ ซึ่งเป็นโรงไฟฟ้าในไทย 118 เมกะวัตต์ และ SunEdison อีก 13 เมกะวัตต์

สำหรับทรัพย์สินที่จำหน่าย ประกอบด้วย เงินลงทุนทั้งหมดในบริษัท เนชั่น ยู จำกัด (NU) บริษัทย่อยประกอบธุรกิจมหาวิทยาลัยเนชั่น จำนวน 30.59 ล้านหุ้น คิดเป็น 90% ของจำนวนหุ้นทั้งหมดของ NU, เงินลงทุนทั้งหมดในบริษัท แบงคอก บิสสิเนส บรอดแคสติ้ง จำกัด (BBB) บริษัทย่อยดำเนินธุรกิจช่องทีวีดิจิทัล NOW 26 จำนวน 149.99 ล้านหุ้น คิดเป็น 100% ของจำนวนหุ้นทั้งหมดของ BBB (หุ้นดังกล่าวถือโดยบริษัท 149.90 ล้านหุ้นและ อีก 99,997 หุ้น ถือโดยบริษัท กรุงเทพธุรกิจ มีเดีย จำกัด)
